Here are a few highlights from my trip to the NCAA women's final four in St. Louis last week.
Oklahoma's Whitney Hand and Courtney Paris are celebrating early as the Sooners raced out to an 11-point lead over Louisville in the first semi-final.

Louisville coach Jeff Walz and his bench go a little crazy after a Keshia Hines shot tied the score midway through the second half.

Louisville's star Angel McCoughtry gets pumped after swatting a Jenny Vining shot into the stands.

In the end it was Louisville celebrating knocking-off a second #1 seed while the Sooners' Ashley Paris and Nyeshia Stevenson walked-off disappointed.

And in the final it was Big East foes UConn and Louisville. Renee Montgomery took an elbow from the Cardinals' Deseree' Byrd ...

... but in the end it was Angel McCoughtry and Louisville who went home frustrated ...

... and UConn who went home with their sixth title and third undefeated season.

Final score: UConn 76 Louisville 54

The sixth title for the team, the fifth I have covered.
